Call 800.799.SAFE for answers. He's right, though. If he goes home you can't make him pay. That's ok though. They can help you find work at the shelter. Don't let him keep hitting you because you're scared. You can also call the cops, have him arrested and put on a restraining order. Then he can't come home.
