My 95 Grand Jeep Cherokee has a fuel/transmisson problem maybe?

My 95 Grand Jeep Cherokee losses throttle power after it has been run for about 15 to 20 mins. When I push the gas to the floor it shutters and shakes while I drive. I can pullover and turn it off and start it again and the problem will stop for a couple minutes but will return. I have already replaced the TPS and fuel filter. The second problem is when you drive the truck it feel like the overdrive is off. The cruise control will not engage as well since it has been doing this overdrive thing. I really don’t care about the cruise control but it might help with the diagnosis. So if anyone has an idea or has any good advice I would really appreciate it.
