My car runs like crap when i start it but runs almost perfect after it warms up?

I think I would check out the EGR valve, in fact in a '95, I would clean up the EGR and the passageway into the block the the EGR is attached. There is usually a build up of carbon there so you might have to use an old screwdriver and hammer to chisel the crap out.
