Mitsubishi Elipse not starting getting error code that MAP sensor circuit is bad and car wont start?

Changed the MAP sensor and TPS sensor and car still wont start. Car turns over and and will fire up but then die right away. After a few tries you can smell gas in the engine compartment. The MAP sensor appear to have voltage going to two of the wires as I believe it should, but the voltage doesn't look high enough on one of the leads. Any know what I should check next. Also changed the spark plugs as there was no points left on them.
