My car can't idle low or it dies what is causing it?

I just fixed my car I thought then after I get done I go to crank it up and It dies immediately after going into idle. So I adjusted the throttle stop now the only way it will idle is if its revving really high but even then it sometimes dies. I have had a few people say its the TPS. Are they correct or is it something else. BTW I have recently replaced Fuel pump, Spark plugs and wires, Fuel Filter, Air Filter and checked the vacuum lines and fuses all looks well.
