Minecraft texture pack help.?

I recently put the bordercraft texture pack in my folder along with others. The bordercraft one wasnt working so i deleted it. The very next day i jumped on minecraft. It wouldnt respond... no big deal i just deleted the other TPs out of my folder and tryed it again. It worked. i checked my in game folder and it had nothing in it. I got on my usual server and my TP was bordercraft. Whats going on?
