I don't know whats going to happen to "us"?

well i go to this camp and i met a guy there that i eventually started liking and i told one of my friends there and these popular people over heard me saying that and then they told his little sister. right after that she told him. and then he just glanced at me and told her,"ok whatever." and right after that i left. and around the time that he gets out he ALWAYS texts me, but that day he didnt. So i dont know if he likes me or if he just needs time.
